Talatu Yusuf Abdulkareem an International Exchange Alumnus of the Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) 2022 Co-hort. As part of her community action project, she reached out to about 100 high school girls and 50 women of reproductive age in Gombe to educate them in Cervical Cancer on the 7th of November 2022. Cervical Cancer is the second most common cancer world wide and a leading cause of cancer deaths in developing countries. However, with basic knowledge of its risk factors and measures available, the disease is entirely preventable
